The plans for Vision 2015 are progressing well. We are in the process of formulating specific objectives
in each of the benchmark areas established by our Board of Trustees. As those objectives are formalized and
approved we will be able to share more with you. I am encouraged by the level of support and commitment that has
been expressed by our Board of Trustees to address as many areas as possible, as quickly as possible, and as
significantly as possible in the plans that are being made. It is that kind of support and commitment that will
enable our students to experience increased success in a very short period of time. As a result of feedback
received through the Vision 2015 survey, a significant amount of money has been allocated to immediately address
the areas of curriculum and technology.
We were very encouraged by all of the feedback received through the Vision 2015 surveys that were returned. It is
that kind of feedback that will enable us to provide programs and services for students that will increase their
degree of success. You can view a summary of the survey results now by clicking the link below. Thank you again to
everyone who took part in this invaluable survey.

SWOT Analysis - A SWOT analysis identifies Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats
related to the school’s identity and ability to be effective. The results of a S.W.O.T. analysis will be used to drive
the process of establishing goals and objectives for achieving the benchmarks that have been established by the
Salem Academy Board of Trustees.
The Planning Team is in the process of developing the objectives that will become the “meat” of Vision 2015.
Feedback received from members of the SACS community will also contribute to the development of these objectives.
