Salem Academy Christian is a private school which was founded in 1945 and is located on two Campuses in Salem, Oregon. Salem is the capitol of Oregon, with a population of around 200,000. The ISP is located on the Main Campus which includes 4 classroom buildings, a gymnasium, a library; Baseball, Football & Track fields, and the Administration Building. SAC is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International. The High School in 2008-2009 had a total of 240 students. The ISP currently (2007-2008) has 47 International students from the following countries: Korea - 15, Japan - 5, Vietnam - 12, China - 14, and Tonga - 1.
Graduates from SAC have been accepted at universities such as University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Portland State University, Western Oregon University, Washington State University, Biola University, Azusa University, Stanford, West Point, etc. View where 2010 ISP Graduates are headed! We are a member of the Oregon Schools Activities Association (OSAA) and compete against other 2-A schools (similar size schools) in Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Field & Track, Softball and Baseball.
