Salem Academy Christian Schools

The duties of a coach extend beyond their knowledge of a particular sport.  They are some of the most important responsibilities in the school. They require the same level of commitment that a coach expects from their players. As a coach at Salem Academy Christian School, I pledge to:

Teach the importance of Christ-centered, Biblically-based character and values; Model appropriate language and behavior, Respect each athlete as a child of God; Promote the safety of each athlete and ask no more in practice or competition than each is capable of delivering; Provide conditions and circumstances that encourage each athlete to realize their full potential; Create a solid sense of “team” among all athletes and coaches; Demand that each athlete honor their academic and family responsibilities; Challenge each athlete to grow in their faith through adversity and success; make athletics Fun for my athletes.
